Sunday 19th September was Finals Day for the Dyno Plumbing T20 competition. This took place at the Beckenham County ground and the first Semi Final was between Tonbridge CC and Wickham Park CC. We won the toss and Tonbridge were put in. Tonbridge CC could not get going, losing wickets on a regular basis and they crawled to 74 all out in just 16.4 overs. The pick of our bowlers was Adnan Mohammed with figures of 4 wickets for 9 runs. There were no wides or no balls. In reply Wickham Park CC made a steady and confident start, with Nelson and Muthiah picking up runs at will. Once the foundation had been established, Adam and Manobala, with an explosion of fours, finished the game in 13.3 overs. A great result with a disciplined approach.
With confidence sky high, Wickham Park CC were looking forward to the Final but the weather brought an end to the proceedings and the Final has been postponed until next season.
